Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Years 2011/2012/2013 Merged Library Development Normal Intervention & Year 2013 Special Intervention Projects

The Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu plans to execute the year 2011/2012/2013 merged library development Normal Intervention Projects and year 2013 special intervention (SIP-1) as follows:

Library Development
LOTA: Procurement of assorted Textbooks and Journals
LOTA2: Procurement of Library Furniture and Equipment
LOTA3: E-Library and library networking

Special Intervention (1)
LOT B1: Procurement, Installation, Testing and commissioning of 12No.Computers & networking accessories.
LOT B2: Procurement, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Infrastructure Equipment.

Eligibility Requirements
Interested and competent contractors/suppliers with required experience are requested to submit pre-qualification documents arranged in the following order for consideration.

1. Evidence of registration and Incorporation of Company by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. Company Income Tax Certificate for the last three (3) years (CITC), 2011/2012 & 2013.
3. Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years (CAA), 2011, 2012 & 2013.
4. List of key staff with evidence of proficiency and experience.
5. Evidence of finance, capital and banking support.
6. Verifiable list of similar works successfully completed in the last three (3) years with names of client, evidence of award and completion certificates.
7. Equipment and technology capacity with evidence of ownership.
8. Vat Registration and evidence of Vat Remittance.
9. Registration/Remittance to PENCOM.
10. Registration/Remittance to ITF.
11. A sworn Affidavit that none of the officers of the Institution have vested interest in your company and that none of your Directors have any criminal records.

Submission
All documents should be submitted to the office of the Registrar in an envelope marked with the appropriate Lot applied for and stating (YEAR 2011/2012/2013 MERGED NORMAL LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION PROJECTS) OR YEAR 2013 SPECIAL INTERVENTION (1).

All submission will be opened at 12:00pm on the closing date in the council chamber of the polytechnic and all applicants and members of the public are invited to attend. Contractors are advised to be present or presented at the opening and should be able to produce original copies of documents when requested.

Note:

• Please note that only successfully pre-qualified contractors will be invited to bid.
• The Polytechnic shall not bear the cost preparation of applications or any other related cost and does not go into correspondence(s) on account of unsuccessful applications.
• The Polytechnic also reserves the right to reject any or all the pre-qualifications documents submitted.
