Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender in Respect of Approved 2013 Tetfund Special Project and 2011/2013 Fabrication Interventions at Auchi Polytechnic

In compliance with Due Process requirement for the Procurement of goods and services, the Management of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi wishes to invite competent Contractors for prequalification and Tender for the execution of approved 2013 Tetfund Special Project and 2011/2013 Fabrication Interventions.

Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender in Respect of Approved 2013 Tetfund Special Project and 2011/2013 Fabrication Interventions 

Projects: 2013 Tetfund Special Project
LOT A: Construction of Modern Sport Complex for Physical Education
Dept/Sports Unit and Re-grassing/Filling and compaction of Main Bowl of the Sport Complex.
LOT B: Construction of Toilets and Renovation of Existing Toilets with a borehole and 2No. Overhead Tanks of 2000 litres.
LOT C: Construction of Perimeter Fence and Gate for the Sport Complex.
LOT D: Supply and Installation of 100 KVA Sound Proof Perkins (England) Generator, including Testing, Commissioning and all necessary accessories.

20 11/2013 (Merged) Fabrication Interventions
LOT A: Fabrication of 10 Tonne Cold Store and a Charcoal/Gas Fired Oven for the Department of Food Technology.
LOT B: Fabrication of 16Nos. Waste Disposal Bins for Works and Maintenance Department.

Pre-Qualification Requirements:

1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three years —2011, 2012 and 2013.
3. Evidence of VAT registration and past VAT remittance.
4. Evidence of Audited Accounts of the Company for the last three (3) years—2011, 2012 and 2013.
5. List and Resume of Management and key staff (Technical) and photocopies of academic qualification certificates and evidences of registration with relevant Professional Bodies.
6. Evidence of experience or involvement in similar jobs with proofs of letters of Award And Completion Certificates.
7. Details of Equipment owned or to be hired.
8. Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency (Reference Letter, Statement of Account, etc).
9. Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
10. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM.
11. Evidence of social/communal responsibility.

Collction of Tender Documents:
Tender documents are to be collected on payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Twenty-five thousand Naira (N25, 000.00) only to the Bursary Department of the Institution, from the Office of Director, Physical Planning.

Verification of Claims:
Auchi Polytechnic reserves the right to verify the claims made by the Contractors.

18th December 2014

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents and Tender Bids
Pre-qualification documents and tender bids should be neatly packaged separately in a sealed envelope each and to be clearly marked ‘Pre-qualification for year 2013 TETFUND Intervention Projects’ and ‘Tender Bid for year 2013 TETFUND Intervention Projects indicating the LOT at the top left hand corner of the envelopes which should be addressed to the Registrar, Auchi Polytechnic, P.M. B. 13, Auchi.
These documents should be drocped in the Tender’s Box in the Registrar Office, not later than 18th December, 2014.

Opening of Bids
Bids documents of successful Pre-qualified Contractors shall be opened immediately, on 18th December, 2014 in the Polytechnic Boardroom at 12.00noon prompt.
