Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Consultants for Training and Workship in Ekiti State at the Ekiti State Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning and Service Delivery (MBEP&SD)

The Ekiti State Government in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme is in the process of carrying out the following; “UPDATING THE STATE STATISTICAL MASTER PLAN FRAMEWORK TO SERVE AS GUIDE FOR THE OPERATION OF EKITI STATE STATISTICAL SYSTEM” and “2 DAYS TRAINING OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR IN CUSMETOLOGY, CONFECTIONARIES, SOAP MAKING AND BATIK IN EKITI STATE” and “3 DAYS TRAINING ON ENHANCING BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE FOR THE BENEFICIARIES OF THE EKITI STATE SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME FOR THE ELDERLY”. Ekiti State government is Reviewing the Ekiti State Statistical Master Plan (SSMP) which serves as the Road Map for operations of the State Statistical System. Ekiti State Statistical Master Plan was prepared in 2006 in line with the National Generic Statistical Master Plan though with local content peculiarities. The Plan was designed to examine the strength and weaknesses of the State Statistical System with a view to addressing the identified challenges for its effective and efficient operations. Likewise, the State Government realized that women empowerment and gender equality is vital to sustainable development and economic reliance and peace building. Embarking on policies and programme that strengthen womens assets are likely to have long term effects because they increase their ability to adopt improved technologies or engage in more remunerable livelihood strategies and contribute to women’s empowerment in the household and community. Ekiti State Social Security Scheme would like to elicit understanding amongst the beneficiaries on various ways in which they can utilize the monthly income they receive especially how the stipend can be used to generate additional income.
Therefore, the Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning and Service Delivery therefore wishes to invite interested and qualified Consultants to submit relevant organization documents for prequalification. The Terms of reference showing the details about the review, Workshop and training is obtainable from the Multilaterals Department, Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning and Service Delivery, Ado Ekiti.

Application Requirements
Interested and qualified consulting/training firms are required to forward their applications containing the following;

1. A technical proposal for the interested training showing a clear understanding of the objectives of the assignment, the scope and deliverables. The proposal shall also include the course content and training plan as well as the profile of the resource persons.
2. A financial proposal that reflects the cost of conducting the interested training or workshop.
3. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
4. Evidence of executing similar jobs in the and zone of Nigeria, with the certificate of completion.
5. Evidence of Ekiti State Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three financial years
6. Evidence of payment of Ekiti State Development levy forthe last three financial years Evidence of registration of Business premises in Ekiti State
7. Reference letter from a reputable bank.
8. Evidence of registration with Bureau of Public Procurement in Ekiti State

Submission of Tender:
The TERMS OF REFERENCE showing the concept, guidelines and the expected outcome about the different Workshop and training MUST be obtained from the Multilaterals Department, Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning and Service Delivery, Ado Ekiti BEFORE APPLYING for any of the Workshop or training. Hereafter, Two copies of Completed Tender documents of interested training or Workshop must be submitted not later than 8th December 2014 in a different sealed envelopes and marked at the top right hand corner “THE TITLE OF WORKSHOP OR TRAINING OF INTEREST” and the “PROPOSED FINANCIAL TOTAL BUDGET FOR THE INTERESTED WORKSHOP OR TRAINING” should be attached as a separate document inside the sealed envelope to:
