CROSS RIVER University of Technology invites suitably qualified contractors/ suppliers for prequalification and tenders for the works stated below, Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the Public Procurement Law 2011 (Law No. 1 2012) and in accordance with guidelines of the Due Process Bureau.

Lot 1: Construction of 3-storey classroom block, Calabar Campus
Lot 2: Construction of food processing laboratory, Obubra Campus
Lot 3: Renovation of Hostel 1, Calabar Campus
Lot 4: Renovation of Hostel 2, Calabar Campus
Lot 5: Renovation of Hostel 3, Calabar Campus
Lot 6: Renovation of ETF Block, Calabar Campus
Lot 7: Renovation of Prefab Block, Calabar Campus
Lot 8: Renovation of lecture theatres (A&B), Obubra Campus
Lot 9: Renovation of VAT Block, Calabar Campus
Lot 10: Renovation of Academic Blocks ‘A’ & ‘B’ (toilets) Calabar Campus
Lot 11: Procurement of equipment for Biotech Laboratory, Calabar Campus

A complete set of the Tender Documents may be inspected and purchased at the Department of Physical Planning by interested and qualified tenders from 15th of December, 2014 upon the payment of bid document fee of N25,000 (twenty-five thousand naira) only, for each set, payable at CRUTECH Micro Finance Bank.

Completed tenders must be accompanied with the following prequalification requirements in separate sealed envelopes, clearly marked “Prequalification Documents” or “Tender Documents”.

1. Company profile including organizational structure
2. Current tax clearance certificate for the past 3 years (2011, 2012, 2013)
3. Evidence of company registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja
4. Copy of current audited accounts of the company for the last 3 years
5. Evidence of VAT registration and VAT remittances for 3 years
6. Evidence of past projects executed (at least 3 projects)
7. Evidence of registration as contractor with the Cross River Due Process
8. Evidence of financial profile

Submission
Tenderers are to indicate the Lot number at the left hand corner of the envelope and must be deposited in tender box at the Registry Department on or before Friday, January 17th, 2015 between 9.00am — 3.00pm daily. Late tenders will be rejected.

Opening of Prequalification and Tender Documents;
The prequalification and tender documents shall be opened for analysis on Friday, January 30th, 2015 at 11.00am in the Senate Chambers of the University in the presence of Tenderers or their Representatives who may choose to attend.
