This request for Expressions of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 637 and Daily Trust Newspaper of Nigeria of 3 July. 2009 and updated on December 4th 2013.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Egagement of a Recruitment Agency to set up SCPZ Project Implementation Unit at the Third National Fadama Development Project

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) to finance the cost of the Third National Fadama Development Project Additional Financing (Fadarna 111 + AF) and intends toppy part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the following activities:

Title of Service: Facilitation of the setting up of the Project Management Unit for the Alape SCPZ Project
Brief Description of Service: The assignment involve recruitment of dedicated, well—qualified and experienced personnel to manage complex interrelationships with a multitude of Federal Government and Kogi State government agencies, with private investors, with host communities and with local and international development partners in Alape SCPZ Protect
Expected Implementation Project: January-March, 2015

Title of Service: Survey and Design of Power Evacuation from Obajana Power Substation to Alape SCPZ in Kabba-Bunu LGA Kogi State
Brief Description of Service: Survey and design of power evacuation through 132KV single circuit line from Obajana Power Substation to Alape SCPZ;
Brief Description of Service: Survey and design of 50km, dedicated 33KV Inter Township connection (ITC) and its associated 2x2.5 MVA. 3 3/0415KV transformer substation, etc from Lokola 330KV substation to Alape SCPZ
Expected Implementation Period: Dec 2014-Jan 2015

Note that variousf work streams entailed in these consultancies would be elaborated in the various Request for Proposal (RfP) that will contain in the Terms of Reference for the assignments.
The National Fadama Coordination Office (NFCO) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services, interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. Consequently, the Consultant should submit along with their EOI documentary evidence to show:

• general qualifications and number of key staff,
• description of similar assignments;
• nature of the assignments, locations and dates; and
• any other relevant information.

Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Banks Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004 (revised October 2006, May 2010 and January 2011).
