Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Submission of Bids to Tender for the Construction of Classrooms/Laboratories/Library and Procurement of Textbooks, Furniture, Computers Etc 

The Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), Otto/Ijanikin has secured fund from Tertiary Education Fund (TETFUND) for the implementation and execution of the following underlisted projects:

• TETFund Merged Intervention for 2012 & 2014

Project: Supply and installation of air-conditioners, ceiling fans & other office equipment.
Bidding Fee: N 10,000.00

Pre-Qualification and Tender Requirements
Interested contractors are to submit the underlisted pre-qualification documents with verifiable evidence in respect of the above projects:

1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
2. Evidence of registration as a contractor with Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education;
3. Evidence of financial capacity, including bank reference;
4. Evidence of execution of similar projects; providing details including the name of the client, contract sum of the project, copies of the letters of awards, completion certificates etc;
5. Tax Clearance Certificate; for the last three consecutive years (2011, 2012 & 2013);
6. Company audited accounts duly signed by an ANA/ICAN Member;
7. Comprehensive company profile including registered address, functional contact e-mail address, GSM phone number(s) and detailed resume of relevant staff;
8. Evidence of payment of non-refundable bidding fee as applicable to each of the project;
9. VAT Registration Certificate and evidence of remittance.

Bidding Fee
The bidding fee for each of the projects should be in bank draft of any of the following banks: First Bank PLC, Union Bank PLC, FCMB PLc or UBA PLC, in favour of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Closing Date:
19th December 2014

Submission
All submissions, which must be in five hard copies and one soft copy in wax-sealed envelopes, should reach the undersigned not later than Friday, 19th December, 2014. Submission should be marked “Pre-qualification and Tenders” on the left hand corner. Tender documents are obtainable from the Director, Works & Services (for all construction projects and for procurement of furniture under Group A) and the College Librarian (for library projects) on payment of relevant fees.

N B: Participation in the bidding does not grant the right to be selected or given any job. This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the College to award this or any job to any contractor nor shall it entitle prospective contractors or indeed anybody to make any claim or seek any indemnity from or against the College.
Failure/neglect or refusal to comply with any of the steps in the bidding process as listed above or to provide any of the listed items may result in disqualification, and Any bid submitted after the closing date shall not be considered.
