Requirements:
Competent and interested contractors and suppliers who have requisite experience, equipment and plants, and desire to execute the project(s), are required to submit their firms profile which must include but not limited to the following documents:
  • Evidence of incorporation of the company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Evidence of compliance certificate with Industrial Training Fund (ITD)Act No 19 of 2011.
  • Evidence of current company tax clearance certificate for the past three years (i.e. 2014,2015,2016).
  • Evidence of VAT certificate and VAT remittances to Federal Inland Revenue Services(FIRS).
  • Evidence of contractor’s registration in the bureau of Public Procurement's National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers.
  • Evidence of previous similar projects undertaken in the past FIVE (5) years including verifiable scope of project, site of project, contract sum, evidence of successful completion of such projects in record time (showing interim/final valuations and payment certificates).
  • Evidence of current audited accounts of the firm, for the past THREE (3) years (i.e. 2014,2015,2016).
  • Evidence of possession of plants and equipment and a listing of such equipment as possessed/owned or easily accessible for ease verification. State location of plants and equipment for ease verification.
  • Evidence of financial capability and banking support (bank. references), bank statement of accounts for the last three months and  letter authorizing the University to verify same from the bank.
  • Evidence of enrollment with the University as a Contractor showing the category enlistment.
  • Sworn affidavit that (a) Firm is not bankrupt (b) None of the Directors is an ex-convict or bankrupt
  • Evidence of current Pension clearance certificate from PENCON.
  • Please state clearly your company’s full address, GSM/phone number and email address for easy communication.
Method of Application
All applications should be packaged in the listed order (1— xiii) above. Eligible Companies/Firms who desire to be pre-qualified for these projects are required to prepare and submit their pre-qualification documents in ONE (1) hard copy and ONE (1) soft, copy in a sealed envelopç clearly indicating on the top, the chosen description/scope of work as well as the ode of the chosen lot, and addressed to:

Deadline for Submission
Pre-qualification documents should be registered and thereafter dropped into the Tender Box at the Registrar's Office, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariarn Campus, not later than 4:00pm, Friday, August 4, 2017. Pre-qualification documents shall be opened on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00am in the Council Chamber of the University at Igbariam Campus. All Contractors/Firms will be notified of the pre-qualification result in writing .Successful and pre-qualified contractors shall therefore be invited to collect the tender and bid documents from the Director of Physical Planning, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, lgbariam Campus While returning respective tender documents, the tenderers/bidders shall be required to pay the stipulated Non-Refundable tender fee of N100,000.O0 (one hundred thousand naira only) in Ecobank, Fidelity Bank or Zenith Bank and obtain certified Bank Teller and convert the Bank Teller into a receipted evidence of payment from the Revenue Unit of the University Bursary. Certified ten copies of the receipts of all payments must be attached. The completed tender documents should be returned not later than Monday, August 21, 2017 at 4:00pm. Opening of Tenders shall be held on  Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00am in the Council Chamber of the University at Igbariam Campus.
