Federal Medical Centre Lokoja invites Reputable Contractors to Submit Tenders for the Execution of Projects

The Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Kogi State, hereby invites reputable contractors with relevant proven competence and experience to submit tenders for the execution of projects.

Description of Work
LOT 1: Provision/installation of Solar Powered Energy System in Medical Records/GOPD/Revenue units
LOT 2: Provision/Installation of Solar Powered Energy System in Adult/Pediatric Emergency
LOT 3: Provision/installation of Solar Powered Energy System in Gynae:Post natal wards
LOT 4: Provision/installation of Solar Powered Energy System in Labour ward/Special care baby unit.
LOT 5: Provision/installation of Solar Powered Energy System in Orthopedic wards & Pharmacy drug dispensing unit.
LOT 6: Provision/network of one (1) unit industrial borehole.

Eligibility of Requirements
Prospective bidders mast possess the under-listed requirements to be eligible to participate in this procurement:

1. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
2. Evidence of Company's Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2014, 2015 & 2016);
3. Evidence of Current Pension Clearance Certificate in compliance with the Amended PenCom Reform Act 2014:
4. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR) issued by the BPP;
5. Evidence of current lTF Certificate in compliance with section 6(1) - (3) of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amended Act.
6. Verifiable evidence of financial capability from a reputable commercial Bank acceptably to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja;
7. List and verifiable documentary evidences of at least two (2) or more similar jobs successfully executed within the last five (5) years including letters of awards and job completion certificates.
8. Current sworn affidavit disclosing:- Whether or not any officer of the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, or Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary in the company.

Collection and Submission of Bid Documents
Interested and competent bidders are requested to collect bid documents from the Procurement Unit, Federal Medical Centre, No.1 Saiihu Ibrahim Way, Lokoja, upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable Tender fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,0000.00) only.
Prospective bidders shall envelope their documents in two separate envelopes: 1. (marked Technical)  and 2. (marked Financial) and the two separate envelopes shall be enclosed in one sealed outer envelope clearly marked "Invitation to Tender"-Lot No (indicate the Lot the bid is for ). Submissions should  be addressed to:

The completed and  sealed bid documented should contain the bidder’s name on the  reverse side of the envelope and be deposited in Tender Box in the Administrative building between the hours 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. You are also required to sign the Tender register at the point of submittion.

Tender Closing and Opening Date
Submission of bid documents closes on Monday 21^st August, 2017 at 1 :00 pm .Any bid received after the stated date and time shall not be considered. The submitted bids will be opened on the same day, Monday 21^st August, 2017 at 1 :00 pm at the Board Room FMC Lokoja. Bidders/company representatives and interested members of the public including relevant professional bodies, Civil Society and Non-Governmental Organizations are hereby invited to witness the public opening of the technical bids.
