Manufactures/Suppliers of Water Treatment Chemicals Needed by the Kaduna State Water Corporation (KADSWAC)

The Kaduna State Government, through the Ministry of Water Resources, herein after called the"Ministry",is desirous to procure Water Treatment Chemicals to support the provision of potable water by the Kaduna State Water Corporations treatment plants located in Kaduna, Zaria, Kafanchan, Saminaka, Ikara, Kwoi, Manchok and Birnin Gwari. The State has appropriated funds in 2017 for this procurement and wishes to apply same for the procurement of the following:

In compliance with the provisions of the Kaduna State Public Procurement Law, the Ministry hereby Invites competent and reputable manufacturers/suppliers to purchase bidding documents and submit pre-qualification documents for the bulk supply of Water Treatment Chemicals to the Kaduna State Water Corporation (KADSWAC), for any of the following Iots:

S/N: Description ,Quantity and Beneficiaries

1. Aluminum Sulphate (Alum) 17%. (minimum) - 5,596 Metric Tonnes -13 Water Treatment Plants.
2. Chlorine Gas (C12 ) (1000kg drum) - 50 Metric Tonnes - New Zaria Water Treatment Plant.
3. High Test Hypochlorite (HTH-70% minimum purity) - 285 Metric Tonnes - 12 Water Treatment Plants.
4. Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash-99% purity)- 850 Metric Tonnes - 11 Water Treatment Plants.

• Supply of 2,640 metric tons of Aluminium Sulphate(Alum)-Kaduna Central Store of KADSWAC-N100,000.00
• Supply of 2,956 metric tons of Aluminium Sulphate(Alum)-Regional Store at Zaria & Kafanchan - N100,000.00
• Supply of 50 metric tons of liquefied Chlorine gas, 285 metric tons of High Test Hypo-chloride (HTH) and 850 metric tons of Soda Ash- Kaduna and Zaria Central Stores of KADSWAC - N100,000.00

Scope Of Supplies
The scope of the supplies shall cover all costs of the goods delivered in bulk to the specified regional warehouses of the Corporation, located in Kaduna, Zaria and Kafanchan in Kaduna State.

Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested corporate firms should submit copies of the following mandatory documents:

• Certificate of Registration/Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
• Evidence of Current Tax Clearance for three years (2014, 2015 and 2016).
• Current Registration of Business Premises with the Kaduna State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
• Certificate of registration as a Water Services Provider with the Ministry of Water Resources.
• Current Certificate of Registration with the Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority.
• Company Audited Accounts for three years (2014, 2015 and 2016).
• 2.5% Bid Security from a reputable Bank in Nigeria.
• Verifiable list of similar jobs successfully executed within the last three years, including letter(s) of award, project costs, job completion. certificates, and contact addresses of the clients.
• VAT Registration and Evidence of past VAT remittance at least in the last three years etc.
• Any other relevant information that would be helpful in determining the firm's capability to execute the works.
• The documents shall be arranged in this other , paginated and signed an each page byan out horized representative of the company.

Collection of Bidding Documents
Interested Companies/Firms may purchase Bidding Documents at the cost of N100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira only) via Certified Bank Draft payable to the Kaduna Slate Government for each Lot from:

The document may be purchased between the Hours of 8.00am-4.00pm daily from Monday, 17th July 2017.

Submission Of Tender Documents
Completed Technical and Financial Bids are to be submitted in five (5) hard copies comprising one (1) original and four (4) copies; in two (2) separate sealed envelopes clearly marked “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” and both placed in a third outer envelope. A soft copy of the submission is also to be made in one disc deposited in the envelope of the original hard copy. All the three envelopes must bear the Company name and contact number at the reverse sides while the "Project Description" and "Lot No" clearly marked at the top left hand corner of the envelopes and addressed to:-

Please note that any submission not accompanied with the bid bond will NOT be considered; the bid bond must not be in the Financial Bid Envelope.
The bidding documents are to be dropped in the Bid Box in the Ministry not later than 12.00 Noon Thursday August 17^th, 2017.

Opening Of Bids
The Ridding Documents received shall be opened Immediately after the close of receipt of Bids on Thursday August 17^th, 2017 at:

The representatives of prospective bidders are invited to witness the public opening exercise, please.
