Experienced Contracts/Suppliers Needed Urgently at the Federal Government Girls College, Bakori, Kastina State

The Federal Government of Nigeria has allocated funds to the Federal Ministry of Education (FME), Federal Government Girls College, Bakori in 2017 appropriation for the execution of its Projects and Programmes towards achieving the mandate of the Ministry.
Accordingly, the College wishes to invites reputable end qualified Contractors and Suppliers with relevant experience and good track records necessary for the execution of the following projects.

Category A (Works)
Lots S/N: Project Title /description location

1. W1: Renovation and Rehabilitation of Staff Quarters - FGGC, Bakori.
2. W2: Renovation and Rehabilitation of Modern Kitchen - FGGC, Bakori.

Category B (Works)
Lots S/N: Project Title /description location

1. G1: Procurement of 1 No. Duplication Machine - FGGC, Bakori.
2. G2: Procurement of 1No. 250KVA Generator- FGGC, Bakori.

Eligibility Requirements

• Verifiable evidence of registration with Corporate affairs Commission(CAC);
• Current Tax Clearance Certificate, for the last three years (2014, 2015, 2016);
• Current Pension Certificate in Compliance with amended PENCOM reform Act, 2011;
• Current Industrial Training Fund(ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31^st December. 2017;
• Current National Social insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) clearance Certificate;
• Interim Registration Report (IRR) as evidence of registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers issued by the Business of Public Procurement;
• Evidence Compliance Financial Reporting Council of Nigerian (FRCN) Act No.6(2011);
• Company profile and verification evidence of Technical Qualification of key Personnel including registration with relevant bodies such as COREN, ARCON, CORBON etc for category;
• Evidence of (3) similar projects carried out in the last 5 years including Letters of Award and Practical completion certificates;
• Verifiable Evidence of Financial Capability with an average annual turnover of not less than 20m in the last three years (2014, 2015, 2016)
• List of construction equipment's with proof of ownership of lease agreement;
• All documents for submission must be transmitted with a covering/forwarding letter under the Company's Letter Head Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Telephone Numbers,valid e-mail address and official Company's address;
• The Letter Head Paper must bear the Name, Nationalities and the telephone numbers of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page;
• Current sworn affidavit disclosing:
  • That the company is not in receivership, insolvent or bankrupt;
  • That the company does not have any Director who has ever been convicted in any court in Nigeria or any, other country for criminal offence in relation to fraud or financial impropriety;
  • Whether or not any officer of the Federal Ministry of Education or FGGC, Bakori is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has a pecuniary interest in the bidder, and;
  • That all documents submitted are true and correct in all particulars.

Collection and Submission of Tender Documents
Interested and competent bidders are requested to collect documents from the address hereunder upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira), only. Completed Technical and Financial bids, in separate envelope (Two set of hard copies) Shall be submitted . The two envelops should be enclosed in a large envelop labelled "Technical & financial Bids" with the project name and Lot No: at the right hand corner with company name behind and address .

Closing date and Opening
Submission of documents closes 12 noon on Wednesday 6^th September, 2017.
Any bid received after the stated date and time shall not be considered. The submitted bids will be opened on the same day Wednesday, 6^th September 2017 at the College Conference Room, Biddder/Company representatives and Interested members of Public, including relevant professional bodies, Civil Society and Non-Governmental Organizations are hereby invited to witness the opening of the Technical Bids.

• Certificate may be referred to the respective issuing authority for verification and authentication;
• Contractors are not permitted to bid for more than one lot. Any bidder that violates this rule shall be disqualified and only successful bidders will be invited for the next stage of the bidding process;
• Technical and Financial bids enclosed in one and same single envelop that will expose the Technical and Financial bids at the same time of opening shall be disqualified;
• Submission that does not meet up with the requirement specified above shall be rejected;
• The evaluation shall be strictly based on the requirement specified above;
