The Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi, Benue State hereby invites interested, competent and reputable contractors, suppliers and manufacturers with relevant experience and good track records to make submission for prequalification and tender for year 2017 capital project.

The Centre hereby invites Interested contractors to tender for Its year 2017 capital projects as follows:

  • Lot 1: Furnishing of Mortuary.
  • Lot 2: Renovation of A&E ward.
  • Lot 3: Purchase of Vehicle.
  • Lot 4: Surgical Endoscopy programme.
  • Lot 5: Purchase and Rehabilitation of medical equipment.
  • Lot 6: Coordination of sanitization programme of populace in the north central zone on Breast Cancer Scourge.
  • Lot 7: Construction of health centre at Mhambe.
  • Lot 8: Construction and furnishing of health centre at mbavaa.
  • Lot 9: Construction of Doctors' Quarters at FMC Makurdi out Reach Station, Tongo.
  • Lot 10: Construction of health centre at Agbeede town.
  • Lot 11: Tender for expression of interest for constituency services for free medical out reach programmes for 2017 constituency tonal intervention projects.
  • Lot 12: Procurement of hospital consumables.
Eligibility/Mandatory Requirements
  • Certificate of incorporation from corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Certificate of compliance from Pencom in accordance with the pension reform Act. 2004
  • Evidence of current tax clearance certificates for the last three(3) years (2014, 2015,2016)
  • Company's audited account for the least three (3)years (2014, 2015, 2016).
  • Provision of current certificate of compliance from the industrial training fund (ITF) Act of 2011.
  • Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public procurement National Data Base of Constrictors, Service providers by the inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR) issued by Bureau of Public Procurement(BPP).
  • Company Profile.
  • Reference letter from reputable bank.
  • Manufacturer's authorization for the approved manufacturers list In the policy for procurement of medical equipment (for medical equipment).
Collection of Tender Documents
All interested bidders should collect Tender documents from the Head of procurement/Department between 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday to Friday) on payment of a non-refundable fee of twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) only for each Lot respectively.

Submission of Bid Documents
Completed, technical and financial bids (hard copy) shall be submitted in two different sealed envelope and labeled "Technical Proposal" and "Financial Proposal" respectively and both placed in a third envelope.
All the 3 Nos. envelopes should bear the Project name and Lot No. at the top right hand corner of the envelope, Company name at the reverser side and addressed to:

P.M.8 102004, Hospital Road,
Makurdi, Benue State.

Closing Date and Opening of Technical and Financial Bids
  • The closing date for Technical and Financial Bid is 18/9/2017 by noon.
  • The document's received shall be opened on the same day, immediately after the closing of submission at the Board room of Federal Medical Centre, P.M.B 102004, Hospital Road, Makurdi, Benue State.
  • All contractors or their representatives, relevant professional bodies and NGOS are Invited to witness the public opening.

This notice should not construed to be commitment in the part of Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi to award any form of contract to any respondent nor shall it entitle any company/firm submitting documents to any indemnity from the centre.
