The Oyo State Government, through the Project Implementation Unit of Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following works contracts:




The Oyo State Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of improving the capacity of Oyo State to effectively manage flood risk in the city of Ibadan and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Construction of Office Accommodation for Early Warning Unit in Ibadan City of Oyo State.

The Oyo State Government, through the Project Implementation Unit of Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following works contracts.

  • IUP/W/NFMCB/02/2021 / Construction of Office Accommodation for Early Warning Unit in Ibadan City Of Oyo State/ Eight Hundred Thousand Naira only (#800,000,00).
Bidding Procedures
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Banks guidelines: Procurement of Goods.Works and Non-Consulting services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 ( Procurement Guidelines’) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition please refer to paragraph 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

Invitation
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information in writing from Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project, through the Acting Project Coordinator or Email: iufmpprocure@gmail.com and may also inspect the bidding documents during office hours between 9.00a.m - 4.00p.m Monday-Friday at the address given below.

Payment for Bidding Documents
A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00).

The method of payment will be by Bank Draft issued in favor of Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project. A copy of the bidding document can also be sent to the bidder upon a written request through a courier firm at the service cost to the bidder.





Application Closing Date
12:00 local (Nigerian) time Thursday, 5th August, 2021.

Bids Submission & Opening Date
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before above stated closing date. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below.

All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount and currency stated as follows; Eight Hundred Thousand Naira only (#800,000,00).
