The Kano state Government wishes to invite reputable contractors to indicate interest by submitting bid to tender for the supply of the following:

The Kano State Government has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (lsDB) toward the cost of the Kano State Agro - Pastoral Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract in improving Crop Residue Utilization Procurement of Machines & Materials.

Preamble
The Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of:

Scope of Works

LOT 1: 200 No Residue Chopping Machines
LOT 2: Materials for the processing of Crop Residues

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods and related services under Islamic Development Bank Projects Financing (April 2019 version) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable bank fee of Fifty Thousand Naira Only (NGN50,000.00). Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address stated below and purchase the bidding documents during office hours (19.00 hours to 17.00) hours working days. Such a receipt shall identify the payer as representing the company or 'joint-venture' willing to participate in the bid.The document can be collected during working hours, at the Secretariat of the address stated below:

Submission of Documents

Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on the above stated closing date
All bids must be accompanied by a "Bid Security of:
- Lot 1: NGN 1,645,520.00 for 200Nr Machines
- Lot 2: NGN 1,598,000.00 for Residue Processing Materials
