The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) invites qualified insurance brokers to indicate interest by submitting pre-qualification documents to tender

Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) - Established on May 28 1975 via the treaty of Lagos, ECOWAS is a 15-member regional group with a mandate of promoting economic integration in all fields of activity of the constituting countries.

Considered one of the pillars of the African Economic Community, ECOWAS was set up to foster the ideal of collective self-sufficiency for its member states. As a trading union, it is also meant to create a single, large trading bloc through economic cooperation.

An additional criteria is been added under the GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR BROKERS
The additional criteria is:
- Provision of proof of Registration with the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).

Application Closing Date

22nd July, 2021.

Submission of Document

Please note that the above requirement is also mandatory for the acceptance of the bids. The Non-Submission of this requirement will lead to the disqualification of the Bidder.
Also note that the Certificate of non-bankruptcy or declaration on the honor of non-bankruptcy SHALL be provided by a Court of Law.
