The Ogun Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (OGUNNEWMAP) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following works:
Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) creatively emerged as a solution to the Country’s inadequate and fragmented response to States and local governments overwhelming complex gully erosion problem, to reduce the vulnerability that threatened infrastructure and livelihoods in the identified watershed.

Preamble
The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project, and intends to apply part of its proceeds toward payments under the contract for De-Sliting and Clearing of Selected Rivers and Streams in Ogun State.
The OGUNNEWMAP now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders far DE-Siltinng and Clearing of Selected Rivers and Streams in Ogun State.
Scope Of Work
Lot 1: Ogun East:
- Owa River, Ijebu-Ode, Ijebu-Ode Local Government
- Uren River, Ikenne, Ikenne Local Government
- Ogbere Stream, Ijebu-Igbo, Ijebu-North Local Government
LOT 2: Ogun Central:
- Opa Aro River and its Tributeries, Isheri, Ifo Local Government
- Adiyan River from Alagbole Bridge to Karo
LOT 3: Ogun West:
- Ijamido Stream, Koto-otun, Ota Ado -Odo/Ota Local Government
- Erukomu River, Beside Former Gateway Hotel Via Sango Ota
- Gbogidi Canal, Ilaro, Yewa South LG
- Babe Elegun/Paloka River Course Igbogila Yewa North L.G to Ogun Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project Additional Financing (OGUNNEWMAP-AF) Project at Ogun State Ministry of Environment, Block B, 1st Floor Room 232/233, Ogun State Government Secretariat, Oke-Moson Abeokuta, Ogun State within the period of Forty-Eight (48) days from the day of specific procurement notice.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procurement method using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bonks Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers 2017 Procurement Regulations edition as per legal agreement ("Procurement Regulation"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Engr. Adenuga Ismail Adetunji, the Acting Project Coordinator, OGUNNEWMAP-AF, Ogun State Ministry of Environment and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00am to 17:00pm hours Monday to Friday at the address given below.
The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000:00) Only. The method of payment will be by direct deposit to the account name: OGUNNEWMAP-AF, Account No: 0076579414, Sterling Bank.
The document can be collected in hard copy at the address stated or through e-mail upon confirmation of receipt of payment for the bidding document.
