The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) invites reputable and eligible suppliers / contractors to submit bid documents for the following projects:

The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) was established by the National Postgraduate Medical College Decree No. 67 of 24th September,1979, now Cap N59 Laws of the Federation 2004, as is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal. It was set up as the the tertiary institution at the apex of Medical Education in Nigeria and its main function is to produce specialists in all branches of Medicine and Dentistry.

The Management of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Ijanikin, Lagos hereby invites reputable and suitably qualified contractors to forward bids for the following:

Scope of Work

Items / Description / Quantity:

Supply of Toyota Corolla / Automatic Leather Seat 2020 Model, Factory Fitted, Air-conditioner, CD Player, Alloy Wheel, Airbag, ABS, Head Rest, DVD, Power Steering, Full Option / 1
Overhauling of Generator Set / 250 KVA Generator / 1

Eligibility

General Requirements:

In order to be considered, bidders are expected to be registered as Federal Government Contractors, In the appropriate categories with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) visit: https://federalcontractors.bpp.gov.ng

As part of their submission, bidders are expected to attach the following documents:

Interim Registration Report from the Bureau of Public Procurement (for the current year 2021)
Certificate of Registration of Business Name from Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
Current Tax Clearance Certificate
Value Added Tax (VAT) registration and evidence of remittance
Pension Clearance Certificate (for the current year 2021)
Certificate of Registration for National Social Insurance Trust Fund (for the current year 2021)
Certificate of Compliance from Industrial Training Fund (for the current year 2021)

Specific Requirements:

Bidders for Toyota Corolla are required to show evidence of being an authorized dealer of the Vehicle manufacturer.
Bidders for Generator Overhaul are required to also submit the following
- Company audited account for the last three (3) years.
- Evidence of experience with the similar jobs in the last three (3) years. This should include the scope, volume of work and the amount should be verifiable.
- Evidence of financial capability to handle the job by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria, indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed.

Submission of Bids

The completed bids should be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked with project title at the top left hand corner of the bid envelope, and Bidding Company’s Name indicated on the reverse side. The outer envelope should contain two sealed envelopes with the quotations, one marked "Original" and the other marked "Copy", and addressed to:

Km 26, Lagos-Badagry Expressway,

Ijanikin, Lagos.

The completed bids should be registered in the College Registrar’s Office and submitted in the Tenders Box (in the Office of the College Registrar), National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Ijanikin, Lagos. between 8:00am-4:00pm on working days before the stated closing date above.

Other Information

Inspection: Bidders for Generator overhaul are required to visit the College to inspect the Generator set and liaise with the Head, Works Department for further details.
Bid Validity: Quotations shall remain valid for 60 days.
Taxes: The total Contract sum will attract the deduction of 7.5% VAT, 5% Withholding Tax, and 1% Stamp Duty.
Tenderers must also have Tax Identification Number (TIN) with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
