Preamble

The Sokoto State Government, through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Survey intends to embark on the construction of key developmental projects, in furtherance of its Urban renewal programme.

Scope of Work

Accordingly, reputable experienced and competent interested contractors are hereby invited to tender for the following projects:

Construction of Sheik Abubakar Mahmoud Gummi Memorial College Sokoto
Dualisation of Road from Welcome to Sokoto Gate to Zamau Junction at Rikina - (7.1km)
Construction of Double Carriage way from Kasarawa (along Airport Road) to Zamau Junction (12km)

Collection of Tender Document

Tender (Bid) documents are to be obtained from the Ministry of Works and Transport, Usman Faruk Secretariat, Sokoto upon presentation of a receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of N250,000:00 for each project paid into the State Consolidated Revenue Account No. 5030063938 into Fidelity Bank Plc and Sort Code 070221068.

Application Closing Date

12:00noon, 7th September, 2021.

Opening of Tender Documents

Tenders will be opened on the same day of the deadline by 12:30 pm at Sultan Muhammadu Maccido Institute for Quran and General Studies, Al- Sudais Road, Sokoto. Bidders or their representatives are invited to witness the opening.

Submission of Documents

The duly completed documents should be signed, sealed and submitted to:

Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works and Transport,

Usman Faruk Secretariat,

Sokoto State.

The documents should contain both technical and financial Bids together with evidence of registration with the State Bureau of Public Procurement Price Intelligence and Public Private Partnership. The project title should also be indicated on the right hand corner of the envelope.
