Title: Request for Quotations for Courier / Bulk Haulage Services for USAID Integrated Health Program (IHP)
Preamble
USAID's Integrated Health Program (IHP) would like to invite eligible firms to submit offers for Courier/Bulk Haulage Service Company for both local and international shipments:
- The Vendors must demonstrate capacity, based upon technical expertise, management capability, and financial resources.
- Palladium intends to sign a Service Level Agreement (contract) with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Scope of Work and Standards
- The courier/bulk Haulage service company will provide regular mails, parcels, and bulk delivery services (national & international) on behalf of IHP
- The appointed service provider will be expected to assist with the delivery/distribution of regular mails, parcels, and bulk items on a weekly or monthly basis to different stakeholders, institutions, and individuals.
- Collect and deliver all regular/bulk mail from IHP designated locations; the authorized representative of the courier service will be required to furnish receipts of parcels and documents on completion of the job.
- The service provider will ensure that all parcels/documents are delivered to the intended recipient(s).
- Upon prompt and correct delivery, the service provider will ensure that the intended recipient indicates his/her full name, signature, and telephone number on the delivery note.
- The courier service provider will furnish proof of delivery on all types of mails to IHP with the required level of detail monthly.
- Payment will be made after the delivery of items and the issuance of invoices to IHP.
- Payment will be made on or before five working days after issuance of invoice and delivery note to IHP.
- Undelivered mails must be returned to IHP within five working days of returned delivery.
- Provide Insurance cover on mails, parcels, and bulk items.
- The potential vendor is also expected to temporarily provide warehouse the goods before delivery to the destination at no extra charge
RFQ Eligibility Requirements Requirements/Evaluation
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Company's Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years or in the case of a new company, evidence of tax/VAT registration with the FIRS
- Indemnity insurance policy
- Valid courier license from NIPOST
- Sample of waybills, labels, bags, tags, envelopes, receipt, and registered trademark (if any)
- Audited Financial Statements for 2018, 2019, and 2020 (Showing minimum average annual turnover of N20 million for each year
