Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) invites bidders with sealed bids to bid for the following lots:

Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) established in November 2013 is a company registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. AED Plc is required to maintain power quality in line with prevailing Nigeria regulations as set by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) in its Customer Service Standards of Performance, together with internationally accepted standards (IEC 60050).

Bidding Procedure

Bid security: The bid security will be forfeited, if the Bidder:
- Withdraws his/her bid after it is opened during the period of validity specified in the bid; or,
- Having been awarded the contract fails: (1) to sign the contract on the terms and conditions provided in his bid; or (2) to furnish the Performance Security, if required to do so.
The performance security shall be 10% of the Contract Price and in the form of a Bank Guarantee.
Bidders can bid for all the Lots, but cannot be awarded more than two (2) lots for Electrical Engineering Construction Projects
For Lot 45 (AEDC 41B(1-30), bidders cannot be awarded more than two locations.

Note

All bids must be delivered and deposited in the tender box located on the 1st Floor, by Procurement Department at AED PLC Headquarters at No. 1 Ziguinchor Street, Off IBB Way, Zone 4, Wuse - Abuja, or sent by courier to our street address as above.
The supplier’s name and address MUST be written on the reverse side of all the envelopes and subject of supply on the Top Right-Hand Corner of the envelope.
