The Ebonyi State Universal Basic Education Board invites applications for the following:

Title: Request for Bids for the Procurement of Contractors for the Provision of 15Nos of Solar Powered Boreholes for Out of School Children in Ebonyi State

Preamble

The Ebonyi State Government through the Universal Basic Education intends to carry out the procurement of contractors for the provision of 150Nos of 1 to 6 lots Solar Powdered Boreholes for Out of School Children in Ebonyi State. The Boreholes will be constructed in two phases which includes:

Phase 1:- Seismic Survey (Site Physical Inspections visit and Geophysical Survey)
Phase 2:- Construction of 150Nos Boreholes will located in 3 senatorial zones and divided into 6 lots (25 boreholes per lot).

Specifications for Section A per borehole:

Loss Casing Material
Positioning of Equipment on site
Drilling of well
Well development, casing and construction of summer head
Submersible Sumo Pumping Machine
Installation Risers (18 Nos)
Accessories/Couplers/ Head cap/ Tangit

Specification for Section B per Borehole:

Provision of two (2) 2000 liters of PVC overhaed tanks
Construction of one level 8 meters tank stand
Reinforced concrete foundation
Provide and install pipework using 32 diameter PVC pipe
Providing and installing water level foundation
Testing and Handover
Final Report
Signage

Eligibility Requirements

In compliance with the World Bank Procurement Regulations July 2016 through the Ebonyi State Universal Basic Education, the Ebonyi State BESDA now invites interested, eligible and competent contractors with the minimum qualifying criteria below to bid for the assignment:

General Experience of firm in the field of specialty
Have specific experience with Geophysical Surveying.
Ability to secure Advance Payment Guarantee from a reputable Bank
Be fluent in English and shall be skilled in report writing.
Registered as a firm with CAC
