The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) invites competent and reputable supplier/contractor to indicate interest by submitting RFP documents to tender for the following works:

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a humanitarian INGO established in 1946 and currently working in nearly 40 countries to aid those displaced by war and conflict. With nearly 8000 staff serving over 14 million people, NRC has ongoing strategic initiatives related to working in hard-to-reach areas as well as ambitious objectives to improve operations through digital transformation as well as to deliver assistance, where possible, by digital means.

Title: Request for Proposal for the Protection of Cloud Data

Preamble

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is requesting proposals for a solution to protect its cloud data.By protection, NRC means to mitigate the risk of loss of NRC data stored in cloud services. While this is a broad ask, the primary scope for this request for proposals is to protect data in a specific set of the Microsoft cloud services that NRC uses.

NRC will consider it as a strength if the supplier’s solution can take on workloads beyond Microsoft cloud services but will at the same time make it clear that suppliers that strictly offer data protection solutions for Microsoft services are strongly encouraged to bid.

Notification to Bidders

NRC will confirm receipt of bids on November 4th, 2021. NRC aims to contact all bidders by midnight CET on November 6th, 2021, to inform about shortlisting status and the remaining process.
Only bids received by the closing date for bids will be considered.
NRC reserves the right to accept or reject the whole or part of bids based on the information provided. Incomplete quotations which do not comply with our instructions, conditions and requirements may not be considered.
