The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi (NOHIL) is located along the ever busy motorway (Ikorodu Road) in Lagos. The institution started as a Military Rehabilitation Camp for prisoners of war returning from 2nd World War. After recognition by the Colonial Medical Services in 1945, it became a Medical establishment known as Igbobi Orthopaedic Hospital.

Preamble
The National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi-Lagos (NOHIL) hereby invites reputable Audit firms with relevant proven competence and experience to bid as EXTERNAL AUDITOR for the Hospital.

Eligibility Requirements
Prospective bidders must possess the underlisted requirements to be eligible for the contract:
  • Evidence of Certificate of corporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Evidence of Partner's current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) yeus.
  • Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate 
  • Company's profile with Partner's Practicing Licenses. 
  • Evidence of payment of VAT 
  • Evidence of Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years.
  • Evidence of verifiable relevant experience in executing similar jobs.
  • Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria 
  • Evidence of registration with the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation
  • Current affidavit disclosing: 
    • That the company is not in receivership, insolvent, or bankrupt
    • That the company does not have any Director who has ever be convicted in any court in Nigeria or any other country for criminal offence in relative to fraud or financial impropriety 
    • Whether or not an office of the relevant Committee of the NOHLI is a former/present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidding 
    • That all documents submitted for the bidding are true and correct in all particulars
Application Closing Date
4:00pm Tuesday, 30th November, 2021.

N/B: Any bid received after the stated date and time shall not be considered.

Opening of Documents




The submitted bids will be opened on Wednesday 1st December, 2021 10:00 am at the Hospitals Board Room Bidders Company representatives and interested members of the public including relevant professional bodies, Civil Society and Non-Governmental Organizations are hereby invited to witness the public opening of the technical bids.

Submission of Documents
Interested and competent firms should forward six (6) sets of their applications (containing requirements listed above) one (1) original and five (5) copies to:
The Medical Director,
National Orthopaedic Hospital,
Igbobi - Lagos State.

The completed and sealed bid documents should contain the bidder's name on the reverse side of the envelope and be deposited in Tender Box in the Procurement Department between the hours 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday within six (6) weeks of the date of publication of this advertisement upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only using Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Payment account details as follows:
