The Rivers State Ministry of Health invites applications for:

Title: Invitation for Pre-Qualification for the Operations & Management of Mother and Chi;d Hospital, Rumuomasi Port Harcourt

Preamble

The Rivers State Ministry of Health intends to engage the services of competent companies for the operations and management of the Mother and Child Hospital, Rumuomasi, Obio-Akpor L.G.A Port Harcourt. Interested companies are requested to apply for pre-qualification to bid for the provision of these services.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

All interested companies and contracting firms shall show evidence of possession of the following.

Evidence of technical capabilities and previous experience to execute similar jobs, performance certificate etc, in Nigeria or abroad.
Evidence of affiliation with a competent foreign partner(s) involved internationally in operation and management of a world class hospital for purposes of exchange of personnel and capacity building.
Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a Hospital/Medical manager.
Evidence of a minimum of five (5) years experience in Hospital Management.
Audited financial statement for the last three years.
Company profile showing key personnel, annual turnover for a minimum of three (3) years, qualifications and experience of technical staff-- and to source for indigenous human resources.
Evidence of financial capabilities, bank guarantees and bank credit lines.
Detailed and verifiable address and location of company.
Evidence of payment of tax for three previous years
VAT Registration certificate and previous VAT remittances.
All documents for submission must be transmitted with a covering/forwarding letter under the company’s letter headed paper bearing the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the CAC, Contact Address, mobile Telephone Number, email address and the Names of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page and shall be duly signed by an authorized officer of the Firm.

12:00pm, 9th November, 2021.

All pre-qualification documents should be addressed and deposited in the bid box at the:

Block ‘A’ Ministry of Health,

Port Harcourt - Rivers State.

Additional Information

Ensure you sign the interest of submission register at the point of submission as the Ministry will not be liable for misplaced interest.
Late submission will be rejected and shall not be opened.
The Ministry reserves the right to take final decision on any of the documents received in the interest.
No representative or agent should submit interest for or on behalf of any firm as the Ministry shall not discuss or deal with any third party.
The Ministry reserves the right to verify and authenticate any claim by firms. Prospective Firms should therefore include in their submissions necessary authority for verification.
All costs incurred in responding to this advert for the project shall be borne solely by the company expressing interest, and
The Ministry shall -not enter into any debate or discussion with any party with respect to the rejection of interest not conforming to the directives and accompanying documents.
