Preamble

This Request for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the Agro Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood improvement Support (APPEALS) Project which appeared in "Development Business issue no. WB 3108-756/09 and “This Day" Newspaper of September 3rd 2019.

The Enugu State Government through the Federal Government of Nigeria has receive a credit from the International Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contracts for Construction of Aggregation and Cottage Processing Centres in Enugu State.

The Enugu State Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood improvement Support (APPEALS) Project is now inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Construction of Aggregation and Cottage Processing Centres in Enugu State.

Collection of Bidding Documents

A complete set of Bidding Document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) for the first lot and N15,000.00 each for any additional lot or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency.

The method of payment will be by cash or bank draft in favor of Enugu State Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS) Project. The document will be collected by bidder's representative on request.

Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bids (RFB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Civil Works under IBRO Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
