Title: Invitation to Technical and Financial Bids

Scope of Work
Bwari Area Council hereby invites reputable, qualified and competent firms/contractors with relevant experiences to tender for the following jobs:
  • Reconstruction of Bwari Slaughter House along Barangoni Road, Bwari
  • Renovation of Council's Legislative Complex and Adjoining Staff Office Block within the Council Secretariat Premise - Phase 1
  • Rehabilitation of Yellow Page - Payless Supermarket Road Kubwa
  • Construction of Asphalt Overlay and Drainage Lines along Angels Wing School, Maroko Street, Kubwa
Eligibility Requirements
  • Evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of thirty-five thousand naira (N35,000.00) only in bank draft payable to Bwari Area Council, Abuja, FCT
  • Evidence of Registration/Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
  • Evidence of up-to-date (three years) Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Evidence of compliance with the Pension Act 2004 from Pencom
  • Evidence of compliance with the ITF Act 2011
  • Evidence of compliance with NSITE
  • Detailed Company Profile, indicating Management Structure, List of Staff and their qualifications etc
  • Evidence of Financial Capability to Execute the Job without Delay
  • Verifiable Evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in recent time
  • Evidence of Registration on the BPP National Database for Registration, Categorization and Classification of Contractors, Consultants and Services Providers
  • Evidence of VAT Registration
Bid Opening
Received bids shall be publicly opened Thursday 6th January 2022 at the Council's Conference Hall by 12:00 noon prompt.

Collection of Bid Documents
Bid documents are available in the Office of Head of Works Department, Bwari Area Council Secretariat, Bwari, Abuja, FCT upon presentation of evidence of payment of the non-refundable bidding fee of N35,000.00 only.

Submission of Bids

Bids should be submitted in a sealed big brown envelope addressed to the:
Head of Works Department,
Bwari Area Council,
Abuja - F.C.T.

  • The Council reserves the right to annul the selection process at any time without incurring liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of PPA 2007.
  • The Council shall not be responsible for any cost incurred by the bidders in connection to the response to this advertisement.
  • The Council reserves the right to directly verify claims made by any bidder/bidding Company
  • Submission of false documents is an offence, which will lead to disqualification and prosecution.
  • And this notice shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of Bwari Area Council to award any form of contract to any respondent/bidder nor shall it entitle any bidder to claim any indemnity from the Council.
