Preamble

The Borno State Government through State Universal Basic Education Board in compliance with Public Procurement acts 2007 and Borno State Bureau on Public Procurement Law 2019, wish to invites, interested, reputable and competent contractors to submit tender for UBEC/SUBEB/BESDA 2021 projects.

Scope of Work

The projects are for the following categories:

Food Stuffs:

Lot 1: Supply of 13,228 bags of rice (50kg)
Lot 2: Supply of 2,000 bags of beans (50kg)
Lot 3: Supply of 6,000 bags of maize (50kg)
Lot 4: Supply of 6,000 cartons of Spaghetti
Lot 5: Supply of 4,000 cartons of Macaroni
Lot 6:
- Supply of 3,000 jerrycans of Palm oil (30 litres jerry cans)
- Supply of 5,000 jerrycans of Groundnut oil (30 litres jerrycans)
Lot 7: Supply of 5,000 bags of Sugar (50kg)
Lot 8: Supply of 4,000 bags of wheat flour (50kg)

Supply of School Uniforms, Socks and Sandals:

Lot 1:
- Supply of 73,680 sets of schools uniforms for Girls (age 6, 8 & 12)
- Supply of 20,000 sets of schools uniforms for Boys (age 6)
- Supply of 45,000 sets of schools uniforms for Boys (age 8 & 12)
- Supply of 40,520 sets each of schools Sandals and socks.

Supply of Exercise Books, Textbooks and Instructional Materials:

Lot 1: Supply of 60,000 English and Mathematics Books 1 each
Lot 2: Supply of 78,000 English and Mathematics Books 2 each
Lot 3: Supply of 28,000 English and Mathematics Books 3 each
Lot 4: Supply of 50,000 copies of Holy Qur'an
Lot 5: Supply of 15,000 copies of Hadith, 30,000 copies of Exercise Books, 25,000 pieces of slate and 30,000 sets of writing Materials
Lot 6: Supply of 105,000 Kari for Primary one
Lot 7: Supply of 3,500 Kari Teachers Guide for Primary one
Lot 8: Supply of 105,000,000 Rana for Primary one
Lot 9: Supply of 70,805 Rana for Primary two
Lot 10:Supply of 3,500 Rana Teachers Guide for Primary one
Lot 11: Supply of 3,500 Rana Teachers Guide for Primary two
Lot 12: Supply of 105 Jolly Phonics English Book one
Lot 13: Supply of 138,000 copies of literacy Reading Materials

Construction of Integrated Almajiri/Tsangaya School:
- Lot 1: Construction of Integrated Almajiri/tsangaya School at Abadam LGA
- Lot 2: Construction of Integrated Almajiri/tsangaya School at Ngala LGA
- Lot 3: Construction of Integrated Almajiri/tsangaya School at Damboa LGA

Pre-Qualification Requirements

Evidence of registration with corporate Affairs Commission.
Reliable list of similar work executed (letter of Award/certificate of completion photo copy).
Tax clearance certificate for the last three years.
Evidence of VAT registration/ VAT remittance.
Technical capability of the Company.
Audited financial statement of account for the last three years.
List of the pre-quanlified bidders will be placed on the notice Board of the BOSUBEB headquarter.

Application Closing Date (Tender)

17th December, 2021.

Collection of Tender/Bidding Documents

The tender document will be available for collection upon the Payment of non-refundable fee of N20, 000.00.

Submission of Documents

Tenders are to be deposited in the tender Box from 10 December, 2021 to the above stated closing date 8.00 am-4:00 pm at the:

Conference Hall of the Board Head Quarter SUBEB,

No. 1 Jos Road,

Maiduguri- Borno State.

The Tenders documents should be clearly marked "tender" for specific lot and must be addressed to the: Project Coordinator, Borno BESDA, Borno State Universal Basic Education No, 1 jos road shall be opened immediately after the date line for Submission.

Pre-qualification document are to be submitted as from today 29 November, 2021 and close on 6 December 2021 and will be open immediately.

Note

Tenders submitted after date line of submission will be returned unopened.
Borno BESDA will not be liable for improper submissions or unregistered tenders.
Any tender that does not comply with the above requirements or any form of deviation from the requirements will be rejected.
