The Central Securities Clearing System Plc (CSCS) invites interested, reputable asset management firm to tender proposal documents for the following works:




Central Securities Clearing System Plc (CSCS) is Nigeria’s Central Securities Depository (CSD) licensed to carry on the depository, clearing and settlement of all transactions in the Nigerian Capital Market.

Preamble
As the premier Financial Markets Infrastructure in Nigeria, Central Securities Clearing System Plc (CSCS) clears and settles capital markets transactions consummated on various marketplaces, including the NSE, FMDQ, NASD and LCE. In addition to the subsisting risk mitigants that ensure the clearing and settlement process is default-proof, CSCS established the Settlement Guarantee Fund (SGF) as a last resort residual default risk mitigation mechanism. Currently, the fund size of the SGF is a modest N133million but capital market stakeholders intend to increase the fund size exponentially, towards strengthening the capacity of the Fund to serves its purpose.

Consequently, CSCS is seeking a reputable asset management firm with proven track record of adroit institutional fund management over the long term ("the Project"). Given your firm’s pedigree and well-established record of performance, we are delighted to invite you to submit Technical and Financial Proposals for the Project.

  • Technical Proposal: should be concise (three pages maximum) and include details about your methodology for investment decision making, investment team, track record, investment fund products, etc.
  • Financial Proposal: should be concise (one page maximum) and include proposed fee regime-fixed and variable/performance components, as may be applicable.
