The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) invites interested and eligible bidders to tender sealed bidding documents for the following works:




The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) - Established on May 28th, 1975 via the treaty of Lagos, ECOWAS is a 15-member regional group with a mandate of promoting economic integration in all fields of activity of the constituting countries.

Considered one of the pillars of the African Economic Community, ECOWAS was set up to foster the ideal of collective self-sufficiency for its member states. As a trading union, it is also meant to create a single, large trading bloc through economic cooperation.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Invitation to Bid for the Supply, Delivery as well as, Installation and Testing Where Applicable of IT Equipment and Software for the Establishment of a Digital Forensic Laboratory in Liberia

Preamble
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission within the framework of the execution of its 2021 budget intends to apply a portion of the budgeted funds to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply, Delivery as well as, Installation and Testing Where Applicable of IT Equipment and Software for the Establishment of a Digital Forensic Laboratory in Liberia.

The ECOWAS Commission, therefore, invites sealed bids for the supply of aforementioned Equipment in one (1) lot.

Application Closing Date
Monday, 31st January, 2022.

Opening of Bids




That there will be NO public opening of the above Bids due to the COVID -19 related Instructions on public gathering in the ECOWAS Commission. A virtual opening session will hold on a date to be communicated to later.

Collection of Bidding Documents
The Bidding Document is only obtainable upon submission of a written request and payment of One hundred US Dollars (US$100) only by Cash or Bank draft made in favour of ECOWAS Commission, Abuja at the:

F.C.T - Abuja.

For Bidders outside Nigeria, the Bidding Document can be mailed to interested Bidders upon payment (by Transfer) of non-refundable fee of US Dollars (US$100) only to ECOWAS Commission (transfer charges borne by the bidder). (Account Details available on request.).

Submission of Documents
Bids (1 original and 3 Copies) SHALL be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked "International Competitive Bidding for the Supply, Delivery as well as, Installation and Testing Where Applicable of IT Equipment and Software for the Establishment of a Digital Forensic Laboratory in Liberia" Do Not Open, Except in Presence of the Opening Committee, and delivered to:

Please Note
  • The envelope SHALL also indicate the bidder’s name.
  • Bids SHALL be valid for a period of 120 days after Bid Opening and must be accompanied by a Bid Security (ORIGINAL Bank Guarantee) of the sum of Four thousand US Dollars (US$4 000) or its equivalent in one of the currencies of one of the ECOWAS Member countries; The Bid Security(ies) SHALL REMAIN VALID for 148 Days from the deadline of Bid submission.
