Oxfam International invites interested and qualified vendors / contractors to indicate interest by submitting tender documents for the following works:

Oxfam is a British founded confederation of 20 independent charitable organizations focusing on the alleviation of global poverty, founded in 1942 and led by Oxfam International. Winnie Byanyima was the executive director of Oxfam International from 2013 to 2019.

Title: Invitation to Tender for the Installation of Water Tank

Scope of Work

Tank Stand Design:

500mm from ground level fitted with 2nos Tap head one control valve
Piping into concrete mass and connected to Tank
230mm x 230mm x Concrete stand
Reinforced with 12mm Mild steel

Tank Stand Design and Roof Structure Design (50 Nos):

500mm from ground level fitted with 2nos Tap head one control valve
Piping into mass concrete and connected to Tank
230mm x 230mm x Concrete bases, suspended beams and Pillars bases
Reinforced with 12mm Mild steel
6 inches Galvanized steel Pipes , as pillars for roof structure
Galvanized Corrugated roofing sheets ZINC
75mm x 50mm Wood members for tie beam,purlins and struts for roofing

Tank Stand Design and on Existing Structure Design (100 Nos):

500mm from ground level fitted with 2nos Tap head one control valve
Piping into mass concrete and connected to Tank
230mm x 230mm x Concrete bases, suspended beams and Pillars bases
Reinforced with 12mm Mild steel
300mm aluminium gutter, attached to existing structure that is at least
3M high to accommodate water Tank and base.

Selection Criteria

Proof of Company Registration in Nigeria.
Copy of insurance policy (legal liability at a minimum).
A copy of the audited financial statements for last two years (balance sheet and income statement), in the last 18 months OR Bank statement for 12months
Data on business activity volume and capacity to deliver the product/service requirements (Reputation and business practices)in the last 18 months.
Detailed activity schedule (timeline) for the proposed works .
Three satisfactory references of customers for whom the same type of services were provided; Oxfam reserves the right to contact these references, without notifying the Tenderer.
A list of technical equipment owned by the supplier (e.g. machines, compressors, vehicles, etc...).

4:00pm, 30th December, 2021.

Submission of Documents

The supplier application and tender proposal in two separate attachments shall be submitted together through the bids email: nga bids@oxfam.org

Participation in tendering is open on equal terms to any natural and legal persons or company.
Oxfam reserves the right to reject all bids not submitted in the format specified and any bids where any of the required forms are not completed.
Oxfam is under no obligation to accept any tender.
Oxfam reserves the right, unless the tenderer expressly stipulates to the contrary in the tender, to award batches separately or in any combination.
If the tenderer wishes to propose modifications to the specification (which may provide a better way to achieve Oxfam's objectives) these must be considered as an alternative offer. The Tenderer must make alternative offers in a separate letter to accompany the tender. OXFAM is under no obligation to accept alternative offers.
Tenderers must treat the invitation to tender and all associated documentation supplied by OXFAM as confidential.
