Restoration of Hope Initiative (ROHI) is a national non-governmental organization with more than five years of experience engaging with conflict-affected communities in North-Eastern Nigeria to address the issues affecting them. From 2015-2021 ROHI has supported over 150,000 vulnerable children to return to school through non-formal education and formal education activities in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States.

Title: Expression of Interest (EOI) - Evaluation of Learning Outcome
In 2020 and 2021 ROHI worked with UNICEF using Education Cannot Wait (ECW) and Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) funding to develop distance and remote learning materials to provide continuity of education in emergencies when schools were closed. These activities benefited learners who are enrolled and had poor learning results and at risk of drop out and out of school children who are unable or ineligible to access formal education. Using ECW funding, ROHI developed independent learning workbooks for grades 1-6 based on the national curriculum and produced audio lessons corresponding to the lessons in the workbooks. Key stakeholders reviewed and validated the content and approach before it was delivered to micro groups of learners who learnt using a radio with the lessons uploaded on USB keys supported by specially trained community teachers.
- Develop tools to conduct baseline and endline study towards determining learning outcomes for children learning through Interactive Radio Instruction.
- Conduct, analyse and report assessment of learning outcomes for learners across Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.
Duration of Work:
- The duration of the work shall be maximum of 3 months.
