Title: Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Laboratory Company to Deliver Comprehensive and Sustainable HIV/AIDS Clinical Services in Subnational Units/State Government in Nigeria for a United States Government (USG) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)

Preamble

Recruitment &Procurement.com has been engaged to procure services of Laboratory Companies that can provide comprehensive and sustainable HIV/AIDS clinical services in Subnational Units/State Government for Laboratory Services Delivery,

The laboratory company will be in charge of implementing high quality and timely pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic diagnostic operations at facility and community levels and ensure standardized procedures to seamlessly deliver HIV diagnostic services including human resource capacity building for commodity and inventory management, HIV testing, equipment maintenance, calibration, and quality assurance and quality control for viral load (VL) testing as well as point of care testing for early infant diagnosis (EID), Cluster of Differentiation-4, and Human Papilloma Virus

Expertise, Capabilities and Experience

The Laboratory Company should have over 5 years’ experience in providing comprehensive and sustainable HIV/AIDS clinical services in partnership with health care providers (Comprehensive hospitals) in various states particularly south-east and south-south region of the country with evidence based proof. The experience should be in the following areas:
Provide reliable and timely laboratory services for the purpose of diagnosis, control, prevention, and monitoring of HIV and other diseases Improve approaches at patient, facility, and community levels to track and optimize health outcomes
Experience in conducting RT-PCR (real-time polymerase chain reaction) for viral load and dry blood sample
Experience in the use and maintenance of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machine
The Laboratory Company should have existing relationship with high yield hospitals (high yield hospitals are hospitals that are host to USG/PEPFAR HIV/AIDS comprehensive sites)
The Laboratory Company should have a unique way of disseminating test results to clients like sending results via Short Message Service (SMS)
The Laboratory Company have real-time turnaround speed of tests results
The Laboratory Company must have annual turnover of at least N100 million to 1 billion Naira per annum.
