The World Food Programme (WFP) invites eligible suppliers to express their interest by tendering EOI documents for the following works:

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the food-assistance branch of the United Nations. It is the world's largest humanitarian organization focused on hunger and food security, and the largest provider of school meals. Founded in 1961, it is headquartered in Rome and has offices in 80 countries.

Preamble

The United Nations World Food Programme hereinafter referred to as the "WFP", with its Headquarters located in Via C.G. Viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year. About 17,000 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor.

The WFP, also on behalf of other UN Rome-based agencies FAO and IFAD, is seeking to establish a non-exclusive Long Term Agreement (LTA) with an external supplier for the provision of office stationery supplies, including maintenance of a web-based platform for ordering and purchasing and related technical and logistic assistance.

List of WFP Requirements/Evaluation Criteria

Possess ISO 9001 certification or equivalent (please specify).
Possess ISO 27001 certification or equivalent (please specify).
Possess ISO 14001 certification or equivalent (please specify).
Possess ISO 18001 certification or equivalent (please specify).
Can provide an easy-to-use online purchasing platform with a catalogue for customers.
The company has at least 5 years of experience in the stationery supplies sector.
Can provide ISO 14:024:2018 eco-labelling certification for all products, namely paper and toner cartridges.
Can provide one or more of the following international safety standards: EN 71/ ASTM/ISO/BS/JISI GB.
Can provide one or both certifications (please specify!: REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals) or LHAMA (art supplies and similar for toxicity) or an independent toxic risk evaluation.
For photocopying paper, the paper is 100% recycled (please confirm). and meet BLAUER ENGEL, GREEN SWAN, EU ECOLABLE or EMAS certifications (if different, but equivalent, please specify).
For photocopying paper, please confirm that the paper is certified 100% no chlorine bleaching.
For photocopying paper, please confirm environmental FSC and/or PEFC certification, for which at least 70% of the final product is produced by ecologically certified forestry, or COC (Chain of Custody) certification.
For toner cartridges, please confirm compliance to HP General Specifications for Environment.
For toner cartridges, please confirm that the packaging must not use ozone-depleting substances and must be manufactured using elemental chlorine-free processes.
