Invitation for Pre-qualification of Contractors to Tender for Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) Conditional Grant Scheme 2011 to LGAs

The Taraba State Government is fully committed to the improvement of service delivery towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by the target year 2015 hence the collaboration between Bali, Karim-lamido and Takum LGAs. Taraba State Government and Federal Government to execute special projects under 2011 CGS to LGAs in Health, Education and Water Sanitation.

1. Nature of the Programmes Projects Involved

I.  Health
a. Renovation and Construction of Basso Health Chlinics and Dispensaries.
b.  Procurement of assorted Hospital equipment and furniture.
c.  Procurement of essential drugs

II. Water & Sanitation
a. Construction of Hand pump borehoIes in Health facilities and schools.
b. Construction of VIP Toilets in Health facilities and Schools.

III.  Education
a. Renovation and Construction of Classrooms
b. Procurement of school furnrture
c. Procurement of instructional materials and Teaching aids

2. Pre-qualification Requirements
1.   Evidence of incorporation or business name registration
2.   Evidence at registration as Contractor with Taraba State Government
3.   Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years
4.   Company Audited Account for the past three (3) years
5.   Company Profile detailing years of experience and projects executed in the areas of interest
6.   Evidence of Financial Capability and Bank Support
7.   Equipment and Technology Capacity
8.   Proof of joint venture/alliances/partnership  (if applicable).
9.    valued Added Tax (VAT Certificate and evidence of past VAT remittances
10. Evidence at Registration with relevant Professional Regulating Bodies and current payment of professonal fees

3. Submission
Pre-qualification documents can be submitted to the address below:

4. Closing Date
Pre-qualification documents should be submitted on or before 23rd August, 2012.


NOTE
a. Please this is not an invitation to tender. Pre-qualified companies (limited liability and Enterprises) will be communicated.
b. This advertisement should not be confused as a commitment on the part of Taraba State MDGs Office nor shall it entitle companies to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the MDGs office or the State Government
c. The Stab MDGs-CGS Committee reserves the right to verify any claims;
d. Full bidding procedure shall only be appllied to contractors that have been pre-qualified and found capable of executing the project(s); and
e. All submissions are to be done on or before 23rd August, 2012.
