Expression of Interest (EOI) at Egbin Power Plc

Egbin Power Plc invites duly registered companies and suitable firms to tender EOI documents for the following works:

Egbin Power Plc is the largest power generating station in Nigeria with an installed capacity of 1,320 MW consisting of 6 Units of 220MW each.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Purchase of Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO) Located at Egbin Power Station, Ijede Local Council Development Area, Lagos

Egbin Power Plc (our Company) has over 24 million liters of Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO) in storage tanks at Egbin Power Station for sale. For this purpose, our Company is hereby requesting for Expressions of Interest (EOl) from duly registered companies and suitable firms for the purchase of the LPFO.

Our Company will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, and accordingly, intends to issue an Invitation to Bid (ITB) to the Eol respondents, providing relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill our Company's requirements. A detailed Scope of Work (SOW) will be provided to respondents who are eventually shortlisted for receipt of the ITB documents.

EOI Requirements
  • Company Profile
  • Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  • Evidence of Department of Petroleum Resource (DPR) License to trade or its equivalent
  • Evidence of financial capability/availability of requisite financial resources from reputable bank.

Submission of EOI Documents

  • Please note that this request for E)l is not an invitation for submission of bid.
  • The submission of an EoI will not automatically guarantee the receipt of the (ITB) documents, as Egbin Power Plc reserves the right to reject EOi's where they are received after the deadline indicated above or if requirements are not satisfactorily met.
  • This invitation and subsequent submission of EOI does not constitute any commitment on the part of Egbin Power Plc. Furthermore, the submission of documents shall not entitle any of the interested parties to any claims against Egbin Power Plc by virtue of such parties having responded to the EOI invitation
  • All costs incurred by respondents as a result of this El invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the respondents only
