The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites interested suppliers / vendors to express interest by tendering RFQ documents for the following works:

Applications are invited for:

Title: Request for Quotation (RFQ) - Supply, Assemblage and Commissioning of 135KVA Capacity generator Set at Health Clinic, Ngarannam, Mafa L.G.A, Borno State

Scope of Work
The scope of work consists of supply, assemblage, installation, testing, and commissioning of 135KVA Generator as detailed in the BoQ at the Health Clinic. The Contractor shall supply and install the generator inside the existing generator house and connect the generator to the clinic building using the specified cables.

This work will include:
  • All the civil works needed to connect the generator to the Main Distribution Board, MDP of the clinic building
  • Provision of lighting arrestor and earthing systems which should be placed at the roof top of the generator house and grounded not less than 1000mm.
  • Provide necessary accessories for operating and functioning of the generator as will be directed by UNDP supervising Engineer.
  • Testing and commissioning of generator ensuring all lighting points in each buildings are tested
Term of Reference
The vendor is expected to carry out the following activities in line with the generator supplied:
  • Intended Generator make & model to be supplied based on specifications in BoQ with pictorial sample-guide MUST be submitted alongside the technical document, discussed, and agreed with UNDP before supply to site.
  • Supplying and conveyance of Generator to site, the use of PPE, safety caution tapes and symbols are mandatory. Hence, health and safety of material and personnel should be of high priority. Safety first!
  • The use of appropriate tools, equipment and personnel/expert for transportation, conveyance within Mafa, assemblage, installation, testing, & commissioning
  • All works shall follow a sequence and employ methods that will have the least negative impact on the built environment of the clinic building nor the natural environment, public and private property, pedestrian, and vehicular traffic.
  • Be available for joint inspection with UNDP Technical team for commissioning and certification.
  • Provide a warranty not less than 2-years in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Generator & Electrical Supplies and Installations).
  • Evidence of Minimum 3 contracts of similar value, nature and complexity implemented over the last 5 years with one (1) of PO exceeding NGN 15,000,000.
  • Statement of Satisfactory Performance/Completion Certificate or substantial completion Certificate from the Top three (3) Clients in terms of Contract Value for similar assignments over the last 5 years.
  • Please submit Latest Audited Financial Statement (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) including Auditor’s Report for the past three years [2018 onwards].
  • Bidders having completed and certified Audited Financial Statements for 2021 can also submit to be considered for evaluation.
  • Minimum annual turnover of NGN 30,000,000 in the last 3 years (2018 onwards).
