Scope of Work

The Ebonyi State Government through the State Ministry of Works and Transport intends to embark on the following:

Dualization of Abakaliki - Afikipo Road (Timber shed Abakaliki - Onueke) -16km
Reconstruction of Afikipo - Abakaliki Road (Timber shed Afikpo - Abomege) -17km

Tenders are hereby invited from interested reputable contractors who wish to bid for the project.

Application Closing Date

12:00 noon, 28th February, 2022.

Collection of Tender Documents

Tender documents for the project can be obtained from:

Office of the Director,

Civil Engineering Department Ministry of Works and Transport,

Abakaliki - Ebonyi State.

Interested bidders are to pay a non-refundable tender fee of Two hundred and fifty thousand naira (#250,000.00) only into the Ebonyi State IGR Account and obtain receipt for same at the Accounts Department, Ministry of Works and Transport, Abakaliki not later than 12 noon on Monday 28th February, 2022.

Submission of Documents

Completed tender documents are to be signed, sealed and delivered to the:

Office of the Director,

Civil Engineering Department, Ministry of Works and Transport,

Abakaliki - Ebonyi State.

Note

The following documents are mandatorily required to be enclosed in the tender:

Company's Certificate of Incorporation.
Company's Registration with the Ebonyi State Ministry of Works, Contractor's Registration Board in Category D current at the time of the tender.
Tender processing fee receipt.
Evidence of current Tax Clearance Certificate.

Please Note

The Ministry is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
All bidders are therefore invited to witness the bids opening slated to take place on Monday 28 February, 2022 by 1 pm at the Ministry's Conference Hall.
