Invitation for Pre-Qualification at the Maryland Global Initiatives Corporation (MGIC)

The Maryland Global Initiatives Corporation (MGIC) is an international non-profit affiliate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), which works to strengthen health systems and reduce the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS in the areas where we operate. We currently have offices in sub-Saharan Africa, including Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zambia. MGIC’s administrative operations support the research and clinical programs of the School of Medicine, Institute of Human Virology (IHV) and Center for International Health, Education & Biosecurity (Ciheb), and other UMB entities.

Pre-qualification Criteria

• Certificate of Incorporation (CAC FORM 2 &7)
• Any other business registration certificate/Business License
• Business profile including contact address and details of key staff
• 4 Purchase orders for previous businesses with their contact details and at least 4 written references of endorsement from key/reputable organizations.
• Copy of Supplier's valid Tax Clearance Certificate and VAT Certificates/ Tax identification number.
• Registration with the Office of the Public Bureau of Procurement and Industrial Training Fund (ITF) or Nigeria Social Insurance Fund (NSITF) if available.
• Proposed delivery and payment terms
• Evidence of physical location and all other contact details (postal, e-mail, phone, and fax)
• Evidence of financial capability (Most recent audited financial statement)
• Availability of key personnel and proof of competence if applying for provision of services
• Company's structure and organogram
• Other information relevant to back up the application
