Preamble

This request for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the Agro-Procçssing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood improvement Support (APPEALS) Project which appeared in "Development Business issue no. WB 3108-756/09 and “This Day” Newspaper of 3d September, 2018.

The Lagos State Government through the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement And Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for procurement of Supply and Installation of Agro-Processing Equipment at the Aggregation and Cottage Centers.

The Lagos state Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support project (APPEALS-P) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Installation of Agro-Processing Equipment at the Aggregation and Cottage Centers.

Opening of Bids

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend on Thursday, 24", March, 2022 by 12.00am, at the LSADA Office Complex, Old Abeokuta Motor Road, Oko-Oba, P.O.Box,3845, Agege Lagos Nigeria.

Collection of Documents

A complete set of Bidding Document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the below address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) for the first lot; subsequent lot will attract additional Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency per lot. The method of payment will be cash. The Bidding Document will be collected by hand

Bidding will be conducted through Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the address stated above.
Qualifications requirement include: list of technical, financial, legal and other requirements. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.
Bids must be accompanied by a security of not less than 3% of Bid Price.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
Late bids will be rejected.
