The United Nations Secretariat invites potential Suppliers and manufacturers to indicate interest by tendering RFI documents for the following works:

The United Nations Secretariat is one of the six major organs of the United Nations, with the others being the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the defunct Trusteeship Council, and the International Court of Justice. The secretariat is the UN's executive arm.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Request for Information (RFI) - Acquisition of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) / Cogeneration Diesel Generators

Background

The United Nations (UN), Department of Operational Support (DOS) has a potential future requirement of provision of Combined Heat and Power (CHP)/Cogeneration Diesel Generators. This Request for Information (RFI) intends to identify potential Suppliers and manufacturers for this requirement.

The requirement covers the design, manufacture, supply of such Diesel Generators with CHP systems and to provide optional services (as installation, and maintenance). Companies are invited to respond to this RFI for the UN to assess their ability in supplying the requested goods and services.

General Features

The required equipment shall meet the following main parameters:

Rapid deployment.
Easy installation.
Suitable for critical harsh environmental conditions, and for different climate zones (e.g., desert, tropical country, mountain, etc.).
Diesel Generators in silenced container complete with parallel control panel and heat recovery system i.e., Combined Heat and Power (CHP).
Diesel generators starting from any small size up to 1,500 kVA with CHP.
