The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) invites reputable and interested vendors to submit tender documents for the following works:

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is a UN agency mandated to aid and protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people, and to assist in their voluntary repatriation, local integration or resettlement to a third country.

Preamble

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Sub Office Ogoja, invites qualified Vendors to make a firm offer for the supply, delivery and installation of Furniture and fittings to UNHCR Sub-Office Ogoja, Cross River State (referred to hereinafter as Goods)

UNHCR may award Frame Agreement(s) with initial duration of six (6) months, potentially extendable for a further period of Six (6) months.

Please Note

The successful bidders will be requested to supply, deliver, and install Furniture and fittings (Lot-I) and supply and installation of Hospital items in UNHCR Sub-Office Ogoja, Field Office Calabar and Field Unit Adikpo, UNHCR office and guesthouses Cross River and Benue State. The delivery point is UNHCR guesthouse Ogoja in GRA Igoli Ogoja, UNHCR field office Calabar and UNHCR field unit Adikpo.
The successful bidder will be required to hold the price on a frame agreement for the period of six (6) months with the possibility of an extension of contract to additional six (6) months on the ground of performance which will be evaluated by UNHCR internally.

Eligibility Requirements

Valid Business Registration Certificate submitted (Corporate Affairs Commission))
Filled and signed Vendor Registration Form submitted (Annex D)
Valid company business bank account (Annex D)
Submitted Financial Statements of past two years or Regret Letter
Acknowledgement of UNHCR General Conditions of Contract provided (Annex E)
Acknowledgement of UN Supplier Code of Conduct provided (Annex F)
Company not on the United Nations Security Council Sanctions List (Annex D)
Tax Identification Number (FIRS)
Certificate of Dealership / Service Center from Manufacturers

Additional Information

UNHCR reserves the right to accept the whole or part of your Bid.
UNHCR may at its discretion increase or decrease the proposed content when awarding the contract and would not expect a significant variation of the rate submitted. Any such increase or decrease in the contract duration would be negotiated with the successful Bidder as part of the finalization of the Purchase Orders for Services.
UNHCR may, at its discretion, extend the deadline for the submission of Bids, by notifying all prospective suppliers in writing. The extension of the deadline may accompany a modification of the solicitation documents prepared by UNHCR at its own initiative or in response to a clarification requested by a prospective supplier.
Please note that UNHCR is not bound to select any of the firms submitting Bids and does not bind itself in any way to select the firm offering the lowest price. Furthermore, the contract will be awarded to the Bid considered most responsive to the needs, as well as conforming to UNHCR’s general principles, including economy and efficiency and best value for money.
