The Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the following works:

The Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) is a World Bank Assisted Project In Line With The Ogun State Development Plan 2017-2030 (SDP) Reform Agenda, To Accelerate Strategic Reforms And Foster Public Investment, To Enable Greater Private Sector Participation In The State’s Economy.

The development objective of the Ogun State Economic Transformation Project for Nigeria is to increase the participation of the private sector in the economy of Ogun state with a focus on improving the business-enabling environment (BBE), strengthening agri-food value-chains, and upgrading skills.

The Ogun State Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for the Procurement of Office Furniture and Equipment (in 3 lots). For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank's Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.

Scope of Work
The Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:

Qualification Criteria
  • Documentary evidence of previous supply (sale) and delivery of similar Furniture and Equipment proposed, with size equivalent to the lot bided, for the last 5 years.
  • Audited Financial Statements for the last 3 years to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of profitability and adequate working capital. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.

Bid Opening

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 11:00 am of Friday, April 08 2022 at Block B, 2nd Floor, OPIC Towers, Oke llewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Collection of Bidding Documents
The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Forty-One thousand Naira (N41,000.00) only.

The method of payment will be by Bank Manager's Cheque (Bank Drafts) from a recognized commercial bank made payable to Ogun State Economic Transformation Project. The bid document may be collected by the Supplier's Representative duly authorised by the Supplier in his application or sent by courier services on request (In the case of request by courier, the bidder is advised to arrange for own pre-paid courier service).

Additional Information
  • Electronic Bidding in any form will not be permitted.
  • Late Bids will be rejected.
  • All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Four Hundred Thousand (N400,000.00) per lot in the form of an acceptable commercial Bank Guarantee, or Bank Manager's cheque (Bank Draft) issued by a reputable Nigerian Commercial Bank.
  • Bidders may Bid for one or several lots, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. Contracts will be awarded on lot-by-lot basis.
  • Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" July 2016 (Revised November 2017 and August 2018) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations that meet the following minimum qualification criteria stated above
