Invitation to Bid at the Covenant Applied Informatics and Communication Africa Centre of Excellence (CAPIC-ACE)

Covenant Applied Informatics and Communication Africa Centre of Excellence (CAPIC-ACE) domiciled at Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, is one of the Centers selected to be funded by the World Bank for the 2019 2024 ACE-Impact Project. The Center was established based on the urgent need to build a critical mass of indigenous African scientists with the necessary Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, and Information and Communication Engineering knowledge and skills to drive and sustain impactful researches.

Preamble
CAPIC-ACE, in compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007, hereby, invites interested and competent Suppliers/Vendors to submit bids for the following lots.

Scope of Work

Eligibility Requirements
Interested bidders must provide the following documents:

• Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Forms CAC2 and CAC7 for firms/companies;
• Company's current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2021.
• Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last few years.

Application Closing Date
12:00pm Friday, 1st April, 2022.

Bid Opening
The technical and financial bid documents will be opened by 12:30pm Friday, 1st April, 2022 at the Registrar's Conference Room (3rd Floor, Senate Building, Covenant University, Ota) in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Please ensure that you sign the Opening Register indicating company's name, representative contact details (phone number and email). CAPIC-ACE will not be liable for mislabeled submissions or wrongly submitted bids.

Collection of Bidding Documents
Interested companies are to collect the bid documents from Administrative/Procurement Office, 4th Floor, CAPIC-ACE Office, CUCRID Building, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State. The office is open between 9:00am to 4:00pm, from Wednesday, 23rd March, 2022 to Tuesday, 29th March, 2022.

Submission of Bids
Prospective bidders are to submit two (2) hard copies each of the technical and financial bid packaged separately in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as Technical Bid or Financial Bid. Thereafter, put the two sealed envelopes together in a bigger sealed envelope and addressed to;
The Registrar,
Covenant University,
Km 10, Idiroko Road,
Canaan Land, Ota,
Ogun State.

On the reverse side of the envelope, ensure to put the company's name and address. Bids should be submitted in the bidding box at the Registrar's Office, 3rd Floor, Senate Building, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, not later than the above specified closing date.

General Information

• Bids must be in English and signed by an official authorised signatory by the bidder:
• iBids submitted after the lifeline shall be returned un-opened to the bidder;
• Prospective bidders are to submit bids for each of the lots desired, two (2) hard copies each of the technical and financial bids;
• Each bid package shall be clearly marked with the Package and Lot Number and the description of the project on the outer envelope;
• All costs will be borne by the bidders; vi. Bidders may bid for the two (2) lots;
• Bidders may also visit the Covenant University website: www.covenantuniversity.edu.ng for the advertisement publication.
• Bidders are expected to adhere strictly to all instructions as non compliance may lead to disqualification.
