Invitation to Submit Research and Innovation Proposal at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB)

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) was established in 2010 by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. NCDMB is vested with the mandate to make procedures that will guide, monitor, coordinate and implement the provisions of the NOGICD Act signed into law on April 22, 2010.

Preamble
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Yenagoa, Bayelsa State hereby invites interested individuals, research institutions, academia, oil and gas supplier industry and members of the public with research innovations, to submit proposals for evaluation and admission into NCDMB Innovation Bank hosted in the NCDMB Technology Innovation and Incubation Center, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Thematic Focus
All proposals shall be in line with the approved thematic areas and priority industry challenge, as listed below:

Geological and Geophysical Studies Thematic Area:

• Developing solutions related to exploration, big data, and real time logging data processing.

Local Materials Substitution Studies Thematic Area:

• Sustainable materials for environmental remediation.
• Materials for development of cryogenic technology for LNG, refinery, and other applications.
• Local materials for ultra-high temperature high pressure cementing.

Technology Development Studies Thematic Area:

• Decarbonization technology.
• Application of Internet of Things to exploration and production.
• Condensate refining technology.

Health, Safety and Environmental Studies Thematic Area:

• Carbon capture utilization and storage technology to reduce greenhouse emission.
• Depollution and produced water management system.
• Hydrogen production techniques to enhance Co2 capture.

Engineering Studies Thematic Area:

• Developing technology solutions for enhanced oil recovery.
• Refinery units technology to improve efficiency.
• Laboratory analytical equipment for experiment and materials testing.
• Drilling technology, instrumentation, and control systems.

Eligibility Requirements
All proposals should be submitted in the following format:

• Company/institution name
• Thematic area
• Title of innovation
• Description of innovation
• Objective, vision, mission, and values
• Team structure
• Funding model and budget estimate
• Marketing plan, including timelines to market
• Risk analysis

Application Closing Date
25th April, 2022.

Submission of Documents
Proposals should not be more than 2,000 words, and in double line spacing. submissions should be made via this email address: info@ncdmb.gov.ng

Collation and Evaluation of Proposals
All submitted proposals will be collated on Monday 25th April 2022 and evaluation will commence on Monday 2nd May 2022.
