Description of Requirements
The United Nations is seeking expressions of interest from companies interested in participating in a soliciation process for the Provision of Professional Services through the use of online platform for Freelance Services.
Office of Information Communication Technology (OICT) in the United Nations provides enterprise-wide oversight of information and communications technology programmes, budgets and decision-making to ensure alignment with the UN's overall ICT strategy and in support of the Organization's mission.
The office frequently has short terms needs for skills that are not part of the skill set of its regular workforce. We aim to address this need through an online platform that allows us to identify and hire freelancers.
A detailed Scope of Work will be provided under the Request for Proposal (RFP) document, to be sent to the firms who respond to this EOI.
Specific Requirements / Information (If Any)
- The skills we require include translation, writing, editorial support, graphic design, specific technical skills (specific programming languages or systems) and are typically short term, well defined tasks.
- The tasks typically do not require on-site presence, they can be executed remotely.
- The platform must be open to freelancers globally and be able to hire globally.
