Invitation to Bids for Renovation/Rehabilitation of Schools

The Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board has received a portion of the 2012 Budgetary Allocation funds from Rivers State Government towards the cost of the Renovation / Rehabilitation of Secondary Schools in the State and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Renovation/Rehabilitation of Classroom Blocks, School Dining Halls, Assembly Halls, Dormitories, Staff Quarters, Administrative Blocks, Laboratories, Staff rooms, Gate House, etc. for which this invitation is issued.

The Tender Board of the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board, Port Harcourt now invites sealed Bids from reputable contractors/suppliers for the above mentioned projects as in the schedule below:

Interested contractors who must have registered business names with Corporate Affairs Commission. and registered with RSSSSB with evidence of previous performance in similar jobs and current Tax Clearance Certificate may purchase Bidding Documents at Office of the Secretary, Tenders Board, RSSSSB, 2-6 Emekuku Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt for a non- refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) for each set of Bidding Documents.

Further information may be obtained at the same address during office hours (10:00am to 4;00 pm; Monday through Friday).

Closing Date
Bids shall be returned in sealed envelope to the address above on or before 26th November, 2012 by 12:00 Noon. Bid submitted after, the deadline will be rejected. Opening of bids shall be done in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who wish to attend on Monday, 26th November, 2012 (Same deadline) at the Conference/Board Room, RSSSSB, 2-6 Emekuku Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt.

All Bid package shall have Lot No., Contract ID. No. and School Location clearly marked out in Block Letters at the top right hand side of the envelop.

Please note that the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board is NOT bound to accept the Lowest Bid.

Registration:
All interested Contractors that have not registered previously with the Board can still do so. Application Forms for Registration are available in the Office of the Secretary, Tender Board, Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board, Port Harcourt.

Registration fee is Ten Thousand (N10,000.00) naira only
