Title: Request for Proposal (RFP) - Axillary Equipment Purchase & Installation

Overview
The designers and OEM for the egg powder plant have requested that the equipment and services that are outside their purview be classed as ancillary equipment to be supplied by third parties that are more conversant with these locally or internationally.

Why?
Skill set and expertise:

• OEM not able to provide these services

Costing/cost benefit:

• Likely to be cheaper to be sourced locally.

Intricacy:

• Need of close supervision during the fabrication and Installation

What?
Procurement and Installation:

• Compressors
• Steam bollers
• Chiller pumps
• Water distribution pumps
• Waste transfer pumps
• Production lighting

Fabrication:

• Cold storage room
• Cooling systems
• Chilling tanks

Construction and equipping:

• Waste water treatment/effluent
• Water treatment plant
• Factory ventilation

Project management and technical supervision and testing:

• Project planning
• Supervision of fabrication and installation .
• Testing in conjunction with the main factory to ensure seamless integration. .

How?
Receiving and analysis all existing technical drawings:

• Reviewing the drawing.
• Meetings with the OEM teams.
• Narrowing on the detailed specifications

Selection:

• Equipment
• Supplies of equipment
• Fabrication and construction firm

Advisory, Consulting and Project Management:

• Developing the project plan
• Managing the various projects to be executed. .

Travel:

• Visiting existing installation delivered by OEM

Duration:

• 6-9 months
