Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited popularly known as Ajaokuta Steel Mill is a steel mill in Nigeria, located in Ajaokuta, Kogi State, Nigeria.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Invitation to Tender for the Supply of Utilities / Power Equipment Facilities and Execution of Constituency Projects Under the 2022 Capital Appropriation

Preamble
The Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited (ASCL), a Federal Government wholly owned enterprise under the Ministry of Mines & Steel Development was established by Decree No 60 of 1979. The Company intends to execute the approved Capital Projects (including Constituency) in the 2022 National Budget and hereby invites reputable and competent interested Companies to tender for any of the Projects listed below.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for consideration, interested companies with experience in similar jobs are required to submit the document listed hereunder alongside their tender document. This document MUST be verifiable. Failure to submit any of the listed documents MAY lead to disqualification of the Tender:

• Evidence of certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC2 and CAC7
• Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurement's National Database of contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Internal Registration Report (IRR) issued by the BPP and expiring May. 2022.
• Evidence of Current Tax Clearance certificate for the last three (3) years, (2019, 2020 & 2021), Tax Identification Number (TIN) and evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance.
• Evidence of Audited Account for the past three (3) years (2019-2021)
• Evidence of Current Compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) registration valid till 31st December, 2022.
• Evidence of Registration with proof of remittance to the Pension Commission (PENCOM) valid till 31st December, 2022.
• Evidence of Certificate of compliance with contribution to Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) valid till 31st December, 2022.
• Company Profile and Organizations Structure, including names and resume of key personnel with address and phone numbers as well as Evidence of Registration of both the Company and key personnel with relevant Professional bodies.
• Verifiable list of previous/similar project successfully executed in the past five (5) years with their locations and clients. (Copies of Completion Certificate/Final Payment Certificate should be attached).
• Evidence of financial capability/reference letter from a reputable Bank.
• Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited (ASCL) or the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) is a former or present director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder or to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.

Collection of Bid Documents
Bid documents are to be collected from the office of the Head (Commerce) Room 310 on the 3rd Floor of Main Administration and Welfare Building (MAWB) Steel Plant Site, Ajaokuta upon payment of non-refundable processing/tender fees as prescribed by each Lot in the table above from Wednesday 20th April, 2022 through:

N/B: A photocopy of payment should be attached to the Tender Document.

Submission of Tender Documents
All prospective bidders shall enclose the Technical Bid in separate envelope and the Financial Bid in another separate envelope and the two (2) separate envelopes shall be enclosed in one sealed outer envelope clearly marked ("Invitation to Tender Lot No.......") sets which should not in any way bear the identity of the bidder and should be addressed to:

The Completed and sealed Tender document should be deposited in the Tender Bax in the office of the Head (Commerce) not later than the specified closing date.

Additional Information

• Any Tender received after the stated date and time will not be considered.
• The submitted document will be opened on the same day 20th June, 2022 at 12:00noon at the Company's Auditorium. Bidders or their representative(s) are required to be present at the opening. Bid opening ceremony shall strictly be in compliance with COVID-19 Guidelines.
