The Concept

• A key mandate of M-RITE is ensuring equity in the delivery of critical vaccines for eligible persons. Consequently, these groups have been identified and included in the work plan for prioritization for vaccination campaigns.

Rationale

• Certain demographic groups like the elderly and lactating mothers are often deprioritized and missed during vaccination campaigns. Hence, the Project has earmarked an activity targeted at reaching and vaccinating these groups.

Objective

• Conduct specialized town hall meetings and vaccination for priority groups.

Quotation for the Provision of Snack

• As a part of the preparation for this exercise, the STL, Staff and Mobile Team will be at Town Hall Meetings in Bayelsa State for the COVID-19 Vaccination activity; thus, Food vendors are expected to send in their quotes, for the provision of services.

Delivery Location

• The Snacks shall be provided to JSI/M-RITE Staff in all the 8 LGAs in Bayelsa State.

Requirement / Evaluation Criteria
Bidders are expected to submit a properly signed financial bid/ quotation with the company’s letterhead paper.

Note

• The Financial bids must be in NGN
• Following the requirement of the Federal Government of Nigeria, John Snow Incoperated (JSI) will deduct 5% withholding tax from the total contractual sum.
• Also, note that JSI- is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is VAT exempted.
• JSI reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it fails to meet the criteria or submitted after the stipulated closing date.
• Only successful bidder(s) shall be notified and will be asked to sign a Local Purchase Order (Contract document) with John Snow Incoperated. Note, this RFQ, does not in any way translate to a contract.
• Note that any submission made after the stipulated date will not be considered.
