Request for Bids for the Upgrade of the College of Nursing, Ado-Ekiti at the Ekiti State Ministry of Health

• The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Immunization Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for upgrade of the College of Nursing Ado Ekiti- under Component two of the Project). For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments, as defined in the World Bank's Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.
• The Immunization Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) Project (Immunization Plus), through the State Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the upgrade of College of Nursing Ado-Ekiti as listed in the table below:

Mandatory Requirements
Contractors that meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:

• Evidence of Registration/Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
• Evidence of Registration with Ekiti State Public Procurement Agency.
• Evidence of company tax payment for 2021, 2022 and 2023.
• Detailed Company profile showing evidence of key personnel.
• Documentary evidence of at least two (2) similar jobs in the last five (5) years including letter of award, valuation certificate and job completion certificate.
• Bidders for the Lot must show evidence of registration with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
• Affidavit of Disclosure.
  
  • Disclosing that the company shall exercise requisite skill using genuine/ specified materials and input in the execution of the contract.
    
  • A statement of interest including whether any director of the company has been convicted in any country for criminal offence relating to fraud or financial impropriety.
    
  • That the bidder is neither in receivership nor a subject of insolence/Bankruptcy/Winding up proceedings.
    
  • That all information presented in the Bid is true and correct in all particulars and can be verified.

• The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of written application to the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Seventy Five Thousand Naira Only (NGN75,000.00). The method of payment will be into the IMPACT Project Accounts with the following details:

• Verifiable payment evidence for the non-refundable fee is to be forwarded to the project through the stated email addresses above or brought by hand to the project office address stated above.
• The bidding document may be sent by courier or collected by hand. Prospective bidders will bear all costs if they choose delivery of the bidding documents by courier.
