Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery, Damaturu invites eligible interested bidders/contractors to submit their tender for the Construction of 200-Bed Capacity Student Hostel and Fencing of Female Hostel. Interested bidders should possess relevant qualifications and experience.

The Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery is located in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state, along Gujba road opposite Yobe State Specialist Hospital. The institution was established as a School of Nursing in Oct 1993; It attained collegial status in 30th June 2011 under the administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ibrahim Geidam in-line with the current Nursing Education Reforms in Nigeria. Basic Midwifery programme was commenced in March 2015 and had graduated its first set of students in March 2018 while Community Midwifery commenced in March 2018 in an attempt to meet the gap in manpower in the state. The college is now twenty four years; it has been graduating Nurses, Midwives and Community Midwives who are found working within and outside the country at large. It has so far graduated 21 set of Nurses, four set of Midwives and one set of Community Midwives. The University prides itself in providing students with a challenging and excellent high school educational program almost invariably leading to admission to the leading universities.

We invite sealed Bids from eligible interested bidders/vendors for the execution of the below-described project:

Details

Interested Bidders are required to provide details satisfying the following eligibility criteria:
- Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nig;
- Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) years (2021, 2022 & 2023) Company Audited Accounts for three (3) years (2021, 2022 & 2023);
- Company's profile;
- Evidence of Financial Capability including Bank reference letter indicating willingness to provide credit facility if/when necessary and needed.
- Evidence of Registration with Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement's Guidelines (Procurement of Goods, Works and related Services) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders/vendors may obtain further information from the Director Planning Research and Statistics of the College and collect bidding documents during office hours (0900 to 1500 hours) at the office of the DPRS, Damaturu.
A Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders/vendors upon payment of non-refundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira Only (N100, 000.00).
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the vendors/bidder's designated representatives at the conference center of the College by 12:00 noon on 11th November, 2024.
